Child Intervention Review Panel A Stronger, Safer Tomorrow Action Plan
A Stronger, Safer Tomorrow highlights 39 actions – including 16 this fiscal year – the Alberta government is taking to improve services for Indigenous families, increase supports for children, youth and caregivers, and address the funding gap on reserve.Child Intervention Review Panel A Stronger, Safer Tomorrow Action Pla This public action plan addresses all the Ministerial Panel on Child Intervention’s final recommendations, and is a decisive step forward for Alberta.

It is our roadmap to a province where all children and youth are supported to reach their full potential, where all Indigenous families can access the supports they need in ways that are reflective and respectful of their culture, and where all Indigenous peoples can access the same levels of support, on- or off-reserve.

Our government will continue to work together with Indigenous leaders and communities, as well as other partners, to implement this public action plan. More information will be shared with you soon through your regular communications channels and updates will be posted at ChildrensServices.alberta.ca.

CHILD REVIEW PANEL CORRESPONDENCE

Alberta Human Services Child Intervention Practice Framework (CIPF) Focus on Aboriginal community conversations, the policy and legislative review of the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Act and the Child Intervention Practice Framework (CIPF) The Alberta government listened to feedback from frontline staff in developing new and innovative ways to serving at-risk children, youth and families. The Child Intervention Practice Framework is the foundation of one of these innovations – ensuring workers are supported, trained and provided with development opportunities.
