Registration Now Open for OCYA Legal Representation Conference (LRC) June 6-7, 2024 Canmore.

The Office of the Child and Youth Advocate is pleased to host its next Best Practices in Child Legal Representation Conference on June 6 & 7 in Canmore, Alberta. The conference theme is “From Theory to Practice.” Lawyers, social workers, academics, students, and other child-serving professionals are invited to join to reflect and develop new plans for practice. The conference is hosted by Alberta’s provincial Child and Youth Advocate, Terri Pelton. Elder Casey Eagle Speaker will guide conference attendees through their two-day experience.
