The Action Plan has been working closely with CMHA Edmonton, United Way of the Alberta Capital Region and the City of Edmonton to enable the creation of a community-led mental health strategy and system. Over the next while, there will be many opportunities for community members to engage in the process.
Feedback Session: Strategy for Community Mental Health
United Way will be leading a feedback session on September 6th from 1:00-2:30pm MDT for the Strategy for Community Mental Health. At this session, drafted priorities will be shared and community perspectives will be gathered to help validate and strengthen the final Strategy for Community Mental Health. If you are interested in joining, please register for the session here.
Engagement Report: Community Mental Health
This report discusses the perspectives gathered about mental health from equity-deserving communities, alongside the broader public, in Edmonton. In particular, they explored what mental health means to community members, what is working well, what needs to be prioritized, and what needs to transform. The report will inform the development of the Strategy for Community Mental Health.
