Recruitment for the Children and Family Services’ Youth Advisory Task Force is Now Open.

The Task Force is made up of members from across the province who are between the ages of 14 to 24. They are passionate about the amplifying the voices of young people with care experience and are empowered to help bring about positive changes to the Child Intervention system. YATF members provide their perspective, insight and feedback on programs, policies and services that affect children, youth or young adults receiving Child Intervention services through the Ministry.

The Task Force will be meeting on average 6 times a year through virtual means, and in-person twice a year. Members join for 1 year terms and have the option to continue with the Task Force for up to three years. Interested youth and young adults are asked to complete an application and provide a reference who could speak to why they would be a good fit for the YATF. More information about the Task Force can be found at: https://www.alberta.ca/youth-advisory-task-force
