Good day,
I am pleased to inform you that the government will post updated and new caseload data for the Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) and the Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) programs on March 18, 2022. Data are available at Government of Alberta Open Datasets And Publications
The data shows that COVID-19 has had an impact on service delivery, particularly in the FSCD program, with families using fewer services. We continue to see caseload growth in both programs and an increase in the number of individuals waiting for PDD services. These are complex and important issues, and I look forward to continuing to work together to ensure the programs are responsive and sustainable.
If you have any questions, please contact Jenni Enders, Senior Manager, Statutory Oversight, by email at jenni.enders@gov.ab.ca.Â
