Children and Family Services (CFS) has released an update to the Enhancement Policy Manual as of September 5, 2025.

The Enhancement Policy Manual describes the policies and practice supports that guide our work with children, youth, and families. CFS updates the manual regularly to ensure alignment with current practice approaches and tools. A clear and timely policy release cycle has been established to:

  • Address the specific needs of service delivery in an organized and thoughtful way
  • Build in consultation and approval processes
  • Support communication and understanding of policy changes

Policy releases and updates typically occur bi-annually.

Please see the September 2025 Policy Revisions Document below for full details of the recent changes. If you or your staff have questions about these updates, CFS asks that they be submitted through existing communication channels.
