Despite the availability of mental health services, 73% of youth who access mental health supports report that their needs are not fully met. Until now, youth mental health has often been treated as a one-size-fits-all issue. This new Data Hub changes the game—providing policymakers, educators, and researchers with the tools they need to make evidence-based decisions that ensure young people get the right support, at the right time
The Data Hub brings together data from leading youth organizations and features a unique interactive tool created by MHRC, offering a national snapshot of key social and demographic factors affecting youth mental health.
Drawing insights from over 25,000 Canadians, the tool is updated quarterly and is searchable by factors such as age, geography, and gender. It helps identify critical insights and gaps in access, navigation, affordability, and other issues across demographics.
