2025 Training Events
January 21: Joint OHS/Temporary Foreign Worker Presentation
In this presentation, representatives of the TFW Advisory Office and OHS – Prevention Services branch will provide employers with an overview of the TFW program, OHS considerations and supportive resources.
January 28: Introduction to Disability Management and Occupational Health & Safety
Representatives from WCB will discuss how you can support your workers with effective disability management practices. The team from Alberta OHS – Prevention Services branch will discuss how to develop and implement OHS management systems, achieve a Certificate of Recognition (COR) or a Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECOR) and earn WCB rebates for participation in these programs. They will also provide an overview of Alberta’s workplace injury statistics and highlight the resources available from the OHS Resource Portal.
