The Alberta Child Poverty Report is an annual report produced by the Edmonton Social Planning Council and Public Interest Alberta . It is designed to inform policy-makers , advocates , and decision-makers intheir work to end child poverty and create an equitable Alberta for all

This year’s report explores some of the current issues faced by children living in poverty, including: child poverty statistics, lifting children out of poverty, poverty within Indigenous and racialized communities, the state of childcare, food insecurity, housing, and taxation and income redistribution.

It concludes with recommendations in all these domains that will contribute towards reducing and ending child poverty.
