Non-profit organizations must meet all OHS requirements that apply to employers as specified in Alberta’s OHS legislation. To learn more, see Occupational health and safety and the non-profit sector on the OHS Resource Portal.

Also, non-profit organizations often have students and volunteers doing work for them. For more information, visit Are students and volunteers workers? on the OHS Resource Portal.
