As governments and healthcare systems around the world are seeking solutions to the challenges posed by mental health and addiction, CoRE will support the development of evidence-based policies through partnership with experts in Alberta and internationally.

A primary focus of CoRE will be to ensure that Alberta is home to the innovation and best practices needed to build a comprehensive recovery-oriented system of care, and that those programs are rigorously evaluated and researched.

CoRE will bridge the gap between research and real-world application, ensuring strategies and recommendations are realistic, informed, and impactful.

It will provide unbiased, data-driven, and evidence-based recommendations to transform the mental health and addiction system to one that is person-centered and focused on recovery
