The self-paced Brain Story Certification course, developed by the Alberta Family Wellness Initiative is designed for those seeking a deeper understanding of brain development and its consequences for lifelong health. The course goals include explaining how brains develop and how social interactions shape development to identifying ways to build the foundations of resilience in children and families.

The University of Oxford, in partnership with the Alberta Family Wellness Initiative, is working to share knowledge about the science of brain development for families and professionals. This is important information for everybody to understand how our earliest experiences can affect our long-term mental and physical health. This trauma-informed training is available for and with your teams. The self-paced modules may be a great addition to your regular team meetings.
