Edmonton John Howard Society is a not for profit crime prevention agency that has served the Alberta Capital Region for over 60 years. They are committed to making knowledge, experience, and resources available to support communities in their crime prevention initiatives. They work with people to eradicate the root causes of crime so they can build a safe, healthy community through:

• Promoting an awareness of the problem of crime and its impact on society,
• Encouraging greater responsibility within the community for crime prevention
• Providing services to people who are, or have the potential to be, in conflict with the law or who have been victims of crime.

An Intensive Treatment Program treating children and youth covered under the Child, Youth Enhancement Act from the age of 10-24 years old providing residential services to youth with the intention of transitioning them either to a less intrusive program or back to family care. We use a multi-disciplinary process with the support of our on site Clinician, off site Psychiatrist, Probation Workers, Staff working with the youth, Supervisor’s and Managers.

The Family Advocacy Support Centre (FASC) is committed to empowering families and disrupting the intergenerational cycle of child welfare involvement. FASC envisions a future where families can ask for help without the fear of discrimination, intrusive intervention or family separation. Their mission is to reduce barriers and increase access to legal information, advocacy, and resources.

The Family Centre strives to build healthy families, healthy communities and healthy workplaces by providing a variety of services designed to help individuals, couples, families, groups and workplaces to achieve wellness and to reach their full potential.

Family Connections Inc. was formed with the goal of positively influencing the lives of children and their caregivers where stress has reached a point of violence and unhealthy living. They believe that children have a right to belong to a family, be it biological, adoptive, foster or a group home and to a community.

Family Matters Society of Calgary promotes optimal child development by empowering families to be resilient and to foster positive family relationships. They provide a range of services to families in the Calgary area and in addition provide training and professional development opportunities.

The Family Solutions Group is a vibrant coalition of services and programs. Their overarching mandate is to make wellness possible for children, individuals, and families.

Family Ties Association is committed to promoting the well-being of families at home and in the community.
