Working Stronger 2025

The Working Stronger Conference is two days of immersive workshops, empowering keynotes and inspiring stories designed to create and maintain heathy workplaces.

Join CMHA Alberta and Centre for Suicide Prevention for the 8th annual Working Stronger Conference on October 28 & 29 in Edmonton, Alberta. 

This conference is for people from all levels of an organization: frontline workers, people leaders and management, and executives. Attendees will learn how to create and maintain a mentally healthy workplaces through practical tools and strategies that can be brought back to the workplace and put into action. The conference features keynote sessions, a panel discussion on adopting men’s mental health initiatives at work, a working group session on bringing psychological health and safety to the workplace, and breakout sessions. 

This year’s theme, Streams of Strength, explores the interconnected elements that shape thriving workplaces:

  • ‎Navigating the waters of psychological health and safety
  • Channels of connection: building positive workplace cultures
  • Rides of resilience: overcoming challenges in the current

At this premier workplace mental health event, ALIGN will present: “Fostering Safe, Supportive Workplaces in Community Services: A Culturally Informed Approach to Psychological Health and Safety.”

This interactive session will:

  • Introduce the structure and purpose of the Well-Being Toolkit
  • Explore the seven domains of well-being
  • Highlight the principle of parallel practice and its link to staff wellness and reconciliation
  • Feature real-world implementation stories and group reflection exercises
