The Canadian Consortium on Child and Youth Trauma is a partnership that was established in 2020, bringing together hundreds of researchers, practitioners, clinicians, and policy makers in the field of childhood trauma. It is hosted at McGill University and comprises six primary projects, including the Symposium.
presentations on child and youth trauma, including talks by this year’s keynote speakers: Dr. Peter Fonagy, Dr. Garine Papazian-Zohrabian, and Karly Church. There will also be many other presentations to choose from on themes ranging from trauma in youth and marginalized populations, including Indigenous, migrant, and LGBTQ2S+ communities, as well as survivors of exploitation to different approaches to healing and the importance of supporting caregivers and their environments.
