ALIGN is excited to offer its Indigenous Cultural Understanding Framework (ICUF) training for Foster and Kinship Caregivers.
We will create a principle-based place for individuals to continue conversations that will become a foundation for moving forward in parallel.
After this session, you will have a deeper understanding of the principles to take forward with you and implement the framework’s principles in your work.

Presenter: Rhonda Barraclough | ALIGN Consultant
Rhonda Barraclough has worked in the human service field for over 30 years, with 17 of those as the Executive Director of the ALIGN Association of Community Services. She is a social worker and has worked as a Child Care Counselor, a Child Protection worker, a Supervisor and a Manager for both British Columbia and Alberta governments. She has also worked in the non-profit sector as an employee and a consultant.
Rhonda grew up in Alberta and has a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Calgary, a Post-Bachelor Diploma from Simon Fraser University and a Masters of Adult Education in Social Policy from the University of Alberta.
Rhonda strongly advocates for vulnerable people and those who work with them. Rhonda lives in Edmonton, Alberta.
