The feature article once again provides an update on the bills working their way through the legislature at the moment. There may be an end in sight for exhausted MLAs although it still seems likely that session will continue after the ‘stampede break’ next week.

While activity in the Legislature will slow down soon, the campaigning for the federal election is about to heat up. On page 4, Zack Ziolkowski looks at what we might be able expect from Premier Kenney during the federal campaign.

Meanwhile our key influencer in this issue is Kaycee Madu, the new Minister of Municipal Affairs.

And on page six, Bronte Valk explains blockchain technology and the significant potential it holds for our economy.

And of course, as always, our Events Calendar will keep you up to date on political events while the At a Glance section will fill you in on the key political news of the past two weeks
