RESOLVE Alberta is Seeking Interviews with Survivors of Intimate Partner Violence From the 2SLGBTQ+ Community 2021

The RESOLVE Alberta research project, Examining the Nature & Context of Intimate Partner Violence in the 2SLGBTQ Community, will address this gap by examining 2SLGBTQ+ experience RESOLVE Alberta is seeking survivors of intimate partner violence from the 2SLGBTQ+ community who may be interested in participating in an interview to talk about their experiences, help-seeking, and the barriers that existed in relation to accessing these services.
Criteria for participation:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Reside in Alberta
  • Identify as a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community
  • Have experienced some form of IPV within the last ten years (2011-2021) 
  • Currently in a safe situation free from violence
The interviews will take 1-2 hours to complete and will be conducted over the telephone. Any identifiable information will be kept confidential. A $40 honorarium is available for interview participants.
This research has been approved by the University of Calgary Conjoint Health Research Ethics Board (REB20-1461)
