“Workshop for Human Service Leaders, Building a Healthy Performing Work Culture”
 
 
ALIGN and Wellness Works Canada is offering an exciting one day virtual training
“Building a Healthy Performing Work Culture” in September for all agency employees who believe psychological wellness in the workplace is an important matter.  There are 5 all day sessions planned and in an effort to assist with networking they are set up geographically around the province; but if unable to attend on the date set for your area please attend another date.
 
ALIGN has negotiated with Victoria Grainger the Director of Wellness Works Canada to present. Victoria is a dynamic speaker and has worked in the field of health promotion and population health for close to 20 years. Most of that time has been spent working with the public, not-for-profit, health care and private organizations in developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive workplace well-being strategies while advocating for the profound impact well-being has on performance.

Developed by Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), Ontario Division, in partnership with Mental Health Works and BounceBack Ontario, Return to the workplace: A psychological toolkit for heading back to work aims to serve employees and employers across a variety of sectors. This toolkit provides guidance on how to support the mental health of individuals as they plan safe transitions back into their workplaces and to help employers as they develop policies and procedures for supporting staff returning to the work environment.
For employees, anxiety about returning to the previous ways of working and engaging with others is natural and expected. This toolkit aims to support employees currently working from home and struggling with thoughts about returning to the workplace. It contains information about the common emotions people may be feeling as they think about returning to their workplace and guides readers through coping strategies.
